The Ewa bags are not made for scuba diving use.  They are designed as water protection for extreme shooting, snorkelling, and pool/commercial type shots.  

They have a flat port only.  The housing compresses with depth.  If you plan to take it below a certain depth, you are supposed to "inflate" the bag before going down.  

I think you could use one for snorkelling and pool photography.  It would WORK but not well for diving to say 10 meters.  Use at your own risk.

Guess I'll just have to stick with my old canon A610 for now :D ... The hard case housings are expensive for me right now, or buy the ewa housing for snorkeling until I can get enough money for a better housing.

I think the Ewa marine bag is not really an option for scuba. Perhaps for snorkeling...if you're not a very good snorkeler that is.

I read here on wetpixel on past posts that there are people that do use them with still and video.
Any particular reason why you dislike the Ewa marine bag?
