i am wondering about these velvro masks that are supposed to block the small flash in the camera.

they are shown applied to the front of the camera housing in the directions i got with my strobes, which are also sea and sea.

  my camera is a dx8000 sea & sea...

i guess the masks are designed to prevent  backscatter ?????  

i have twin strobes, and am wondering if i need to apply this  mask to my camera?

anybody out there know.????

i contacted sea and sea, and they said no, yet , i have directions, that came with my strobes,  that show a velcro mask.

my strobes are connected with optic cables that run from my camera housing to both strobes.  ladydianab
