I also hope to pick up a full frame camera to compliment my professional land work. I have character (yes, me!), cheek, respect where due, passion, enough knowledge, and perseverance, all of these will make my dreams work. The pennies saved on the D400 will go into the FF. After all there's loads more money in local land work than there will ever be in the underwater world. Which in turn pays for my real passion under the waves.

I feel the D7100 will do me fine, its lighter and smaller than any D400 will be and I've seen fantastic photos taken on less than or equal to the D7000, by other photographers too I also hope to pick up a full frame camera to compliment my professional land work. Thank you so much That was the hardest part getting them down to 100, very hard and cruel task....that cuttlefish was awesome.. Thank you The colours were outstanding, I couldnt agree more!

Is that all If it wasnt for my wifes love in the damn place I would have only been maybe twice! Been to Hurdanafushi, Maayafushi, Lily Beach, Meeduparuu, Reethu Beach, Ellaidhoo...and soon Gan
Gan is at Addu atoll (I think, going from memory!), the original island where the RAF airbase is/was back in the old days, its the only atoll where you can ride a bike around all the islands and meet locals etc, the only one also over the equator...got it for xmas new year bargain of 4 grand all inclusive flights an all...hopefully our last tie for a while, now she can dive!!!
