S-TTL with Inon D2000 type 2 ?

Does anybody can tell if S-TTL works between Olympus XZ-1 and INON D2000 type 2 ? One person who owns such a flash says that this INON model didn't work S-TTL mode with Canon G9. At least he didn't manage to do it...How is with Olympus XZ-1 ?
