I'm not sure if he got a side view picture. He'll be out at sea until the 28th, so I'll check with him then. And if there's a side view picture, I'll post it. Thanks for all the input!

Wow!!! This is great news! And may not have happened without all the work that you, Bill and Don have done to show OC and others involved about the destruction caused by fish traps.
Thanks for sharing this info.

The Safe Waters Hawaii Site has CDNN all over it. Who knows who they are though?
In Topic: Taste of Chicago - Humana labels Shark a "Healthy Choice"

But shark is actually not very healthy to the human either. Here's info sent to me from Dr. Jane Hightower, who is the author of "Diagnosis:Mercury:Money, Politics and Posion"
"Here is how one should look at the issue:
Shark contains about 879 mg of omega 3 fatty acids per 100 grams or 3.5 ounce serving. This would also contain on average 110 mcg of mercury.
Salmon contains about 1750 mg of omega 3 fatty acids per 100 grams or 3.5 ounce serving. This would also contain on average 3.0 mcg of mercury.
Which would you choose?"
And here's a link to an article she wrote that gives a good explanation of the health problems associated with eating large, predatory fish, like sharks:

Thanks!

Nothing so far from Humana aside from a stock -- "we'll take your concerns in to consideration". Just heard, though, that Chicago's Shedd Aquarium is now getting involved, and there's an NBC reporter working on the story, thanks to Bill Fisher. We're trying to get some more media outlets interested as well. Will keep you posted!
Thanks,
Mary
