Hi All,
It is with great sadness I am forced to sell my camera gear as a change in medical circumstances prevents me from continuing to dive. I have therefore put all my gear up on ebay. I would however prefer to sell the kit to someone on the forum so advertising here as well. I have got the following for sale ideally to UK residents only to save hassle with postage:-
Inon z240 with optical cable, diffuser, manual, o ring and ball adapter - £415
Inon d2000 with optical cable, box, diffuser, manual, o ring and ball adapter - £365
6 Inon clamps - £35 ea
2 5" inon arms - £45 ea
2 8" inon arms - £45 ea
Fantasea BigEye G series - brand new - £240
Canon WP-DC24 G11 housing - £160
Inon dual handle tray and ball adapters - £160
All the kit is in great condition and most of the arms and clamps have only been used twice...! These prices are lower than what ive got listed on ebay, prepared to do a deal for multiple items so PM me if you are interested. Prefered payment would be cash transfer direct to my bank but would also consider paypal (they charge a fortune for these sort of transactions).
Thanks for looking

Recommendations needed Maldives in October
06 June 2010 - 11:48 PM
Hi All,
Im hoping to book a week in the Maldives at the end of October and have been looking at various resorts to stay and am looking for some advice. There is such a choice and from reading various trip advisor reports on various places there are some very good places to visit and some not so good places.
Im after somewhere with a good house reef thats not going to cost the earth.
Ive so far narrowed my possible's list down to 3 different places:-
Reethi Beach
Eriyadu
Embudu
From what I can tell Reethi is the most expensive of the 3 as from what ive read All Inclusive is the only way to go but Reethi is currently being refurbished so it should be looking great in October when im looking to go.
Any suggestions or advice would be very welcome!
Many thanks,

Made it down to Swanage Pier today to get a dive in before I go away in 2 weeks. My fiorst dive in a year and only my 3rd dive in the UK so didnt take many pics. Was a good dive with 3-5 meters of vis and the water was 13deg!
Here are a few shots I took, was impressed with the quality, I didnt really adjust any settings all shot on manual mode with my two strobes:-

Where to go next...?
27 May 2010 - 02:34 AM
Hi All,
Im looking for some suggestions of where to go for my next trip. Probably looking around this sort of time next year but keen to start planning and get something booked in. So far ive been to Greneda and Tobago in the Carribean and will have done Egypt twice. Looking to go for a week to 10 days.
The 2 main deciding factors are the price and simplicity of travel from the UK - I dont travel well.... Im keen to see critters more than anything else. Ive short listed the places that im keen to visit, if someone could recommend where would be good place to stay thats simple travel wise that would be great. The places in no particular order (I know ive got some specific places that are in an area already listed):-
Maldives - Direct flight from UK but expensive
Bali
Phillipines
Indonesia
Manado
Lembeh
Bonaire - 2 flights from UK - direct from Amsterdam
Any recommendations would be greatfully appreciated, and if you think of missed somewhere then that would also be great!
Cheers,
Mark
