Sea and sea NX port ...construction element query.

Hi folks,

 

Just a query re:the above.

The above port is constructed of ABS, but the bit on the top is made of rubber (where the glass of the port is).

I was just wondering, is this a rubber skirt protecting the glass, where the glass meets the ABS??

Can this rubber bit be removed??

 

Was wondering could anyone send me a manual or literature link for the above?

I cant seem to find it on the web?

giving my first ever photo presentation...need sage advice...

Hi folks,


Am giving my first ever photo presentation to a captive audience of victims...er....photo camera boys n girls....

Just wondering what do folks like to use as preferred software...and typically what resolution on images is sufficient for photo prep?

Am looking at microsoft power point as a potential candidate...but am finding it alot of work just to get an image on a slide (cause I dont think I'm doing it right)..and I think Im gonna wind up with a big file???

Any thoughts or advice deeply appreciated as always..

a wee question about wetpixel photo competition

Hi folks,

I love entering this competition and getting absolutely hammered in it....makes me try harder. !! :-D

That said, just wondering, do the final results of each competition get posted in order of  overall ratings...... i.e. from left to right we have first, second, third place....but does the order run sequentially from 4th place onward until the end of the list of entrants...or is it only 1,2,and 3rd only??

Just curious.

Hello folks,

Just wondering what do you think of this as an image...I mean...do you think it's too 'busy'??
Should I go for a more minimal approach?
I think one of my big flaws is that I try to put too much into the shot .....and just fire from the hip...
Any c and c would be most welcome
