Another thing to consider with the GH2 is strobe synch. I can't get my GF1 to synch with my Inon Z240's in manual mode. I always have to use optical cables in STTL mode. This limits the shutter to just 1/160. Cycle time is also slower since the camera's internal flash has to charge up. Bummer!
I assume the GH2's flash protocol is the same as the GF1.

Dear Jack,
Big improvements on the 10BAR housing for the GF1!
Is the port for the 7-14mm the same as the 14-45mm? Also, I'm thinking of getting the Oly 9-18mm, does 10 BAR have a port that will work with this lens and the GF1?
Thanks!
Best fishes,
Mike

Dear Jack,
Thanks again for the update. Will have to wait for the improvements before deciding on what housing to finally get for the GF1.
Best regards,
Mike

Dear Jack,
Thanks for the update on the E-PL1 housing. Will 10 BAR be putting the same modifications to the GF1 housing as well?
I was able to play around with one of their first edition GF1 housings and I found it difficult to use. Having one control for 2 or 3 buttons was quite a challenge, especially with gloves on. It would be nice if they can have direct controls for each button. It was also difficult to use the push/turn control on the rear thumb wheel. Sometimes it would not engage positively so I end up "pushing" and not "turning" and vice-versa. Do you think this will be addressed as well?
Am I correct to assume that the changes for the ports on the E-PL1 can be used on the GF-1 as well? Will they change the controls for the zoom/focus on the ports? I found that they did not grip positively all the time. Or, is this because I was using an earlier model?
I hope 10 BAR can roll out this changes soon. Have been waiting 6 months to get a good housing for my GF1.
Thanks again for all you help.
Best regards,
Mike
