Yup. I've seen them about 4-5 times over the years, always at the Breakwater/Barge. Always out in the sand. Fairly big for a nudibranch.

Thanks to the kind intercession of Dan Gotshall of Sea Challengers, who passed on the image to the California Academy of Sciences, the considered opinion seems to be, "this is definitely the ventral surface of a Nereididae...(and not Eunicidae like the bobbit worm), however it's difficult to guess which species from an image of the ventrum only and without the posterior segments shown (looks like the size is realtively small based on the neighboring barnacle and Corynactis)....It could either be Nereis grubei or Platynereis bicanaliculata (more likely the latter, based on its color, the length of its tentacular cirri and its habitat)."
