About Me

I have been diving for 16 years in places like Palau, Thailand, Bali, Saipan, Honduras, Bahamas, Mexico, and Hawaii. My favorite place, however, is Bonaire! I am new to underwater photography, but after a brief trial with an underwater camera and a successful photo of an angry little crab, I am hooked. I am headed back to Bonaire where I plan to take more photos and see what happens. When I'm not diving, I work at California State University, Sacramento as an English professor where I teach composition classes. Next to diving, I most appreciate beautiful writing, true stories, and great movies.
