Our trip there was awesome as well. Neal Watson was great to dive with. I might mention that the hammerheads aren't the only photo opportunity there. The reef sharks and shallow water wrecks are also great.
My favorite picture(s) just squeaked into 2014, as they occurred on an 80+ minute dive on December 30th, where 6 mantas circled over us at 20 ft. from the moment we entered the water until we came up with nearly empty tanks.
Nice shot! I do have plan to go to Galapagos. May I know which month you were there? Just want to know what time frame would be the best time to go there. Thanks!
I was there in the beginning of December. It was the week right at the edge between manta/hammerhead season and whale shark season. It was great because we got the best of both worlds. 3 HUGE whale sharks, a few mantas, tons of eagle and mobula rays, and hammerheads galore!
