Apparently Qatar Airways have stopped giving divers an extra 10Kgs now. I booked a flight to Manila back in October and was able to get it, but someone else who wants to join me on the trip has just been told that they don't do it any more. Apparently they changed the rules in November.

Time to add them to the "Hates Divers" list !

You could try Pura Vida resort, near Dumaguete.  Excellent diving, particularly if you like Macro.  Apo Island is a fantastic Marine Sanctuary, and is just a couple of miles off the coast.  And the Pura Vida Resort has a Spa.

There are direct flights from Manila to Dumaguete twice daily - transfer time to the resort is around 30 mins.
