I've been using a custom housing made by this frenchie, however it had no buttons so you had to start recording and close the housing (this was problematic).
I just received the Golem one, more info on them here Rebreather World post. Jury is still on the vignetting at 1080p and wide.
Let's see:
- Cheap
- Tiny package
- Huge depths
- Good low light performance
- Fairly wide angle
I think it's an amazing package even with a tiny bit of vignetting. I'm excited about it. I suspect my D7000 and aquatica is going to be spending a lot more time out of the water.
There are a couple of easy ways to cure the vignetting - either stay shallow and use the backscatter housing, or blow 10 times the money on a huge camera and housing.
