Ikelite 5650 video housing

08 March 2010 - 12:48 PM

Hi Folks,
Thinking of buying a much smaller travel rig for video, I just sold my Mako housing/camera. i saw the Ikelite 5650 housing paired up with JVC Picsio GC-FM1 camera, was wondering if anyone had any experience with this rig. Mostly interested in how camera perfoms or any quicks in the housing? You can email me at pucc@sonnet.com. I would truly appreciate any input

Cheers

Light & Motion Mako PC 1000 Housing/Camera FOR SALE

17 November 2009 - 10:58 AM

This is a great housing by Light & Motion http://www.backscatt...s/lmi-mako.html This is THE travel housing and their latest version PC1000 system. Mine is set up for the Sony PC1000 3 CMOS camera http://reviews.cnet....7-31288297.html. I have the Sunray Mini Pro (HID) Lighting It includes pods batteries, lights & charger. I also have Longer Blue Fin/Stingray type pods, batteries & (multi charger system) charging system as back up when traveling. The complete system was purchased as the travel pack which has a Pelican case for transport. The housing has both standard housing back & their latest video monitor back. I have many spare "O" rings and tools to remove smart grips for travel (great for space in carry on). This system was serviced about 2 years ago as well as my Sony camera (no problems, just to clean it) and neither has been used much since then. The camera comes with a Lowe case, extra batteries, wide angle lens, light, & shotgun Mic., along with numerous memory cards. It is in top notch shape. All reasonable offers considered. It probably cost around $7500 - $8000 new!! (FYI Light Batteries are in pods) I was asking about $4500 at one time but make an offer!!! Thanks
