Hey guys!
I have two equipment concerns and I was wondering if anyone could send some advice my way:
1. Just got the macromate for my sea and sea, and tried to use it with my 105 lens. I cannot seem to get it to focus either underwater or above water. I've been trying it with autofocus and thought maybe it was something that had to be used on manual. Any thoughts?
2. My new sea and sea fisheye dome port seems to "wabble" a little bit when screwed and locked in. It is my first large dome port and I didnt know if this was normal and something that water pressure would solve, or if there is something wrong!
Thanks for all your help and happy new years!
Joe

video lights for dslr video!
16 September 2010 - 09:10 AM
hey guys,
looking to join the frenzy into shooting video with my nikon d300s. currently have twin sea and sea y110a strobes that have decent focusing lights. I was hoping if anyone had suggestions as far as good video lights in addition to manual white balance. Also, is there an advantage of using some sort of filter over manual white balance or strobe lights. Thanks for the Help!

sea and sea 110 as slave strobe
17 July 2010 - 10:39 AM
ok so im interested in setting up a slave snooted system on a gorilla pod as described by an article by keri wilk. I know my sea and sea 110's have the sensor on the front of the strobe. Im worried it wont be sensitive enough or facing the right direction to sense the other strobe. Does anyone know of a fibre optic cable or other sensor cable that can be attached to sea and sea strobes?? hellpppppp
