The Thing - Dominica

Here's a couple of Eunice worms from Dominica. Although Humann and Deloach call it Eunice Roussaei, it might be more properly named Eunice Aphroditois. The one of the body was found during the day. The head shot was from a night dive. These are two different worms, from two different sites, a few miles apart. Oh yeah, they were each about 2 meters long and maybe 8-10cm wide.

Any ideas on this one? Was found in the sand during the day in about 15 feet of water off Dominica.
