I recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix P7000 camera with a Fantasea FP7000 housing and a Sea & Sea YS-01 Strobe. It is my understanding that the P7000 does not have pre-flash and that the TTL mode on the Sea & Sea strobe won't work, and that my only option is to use the manual mode. Does anyone know if my understanding is correct, and if so is there a solution to the problem?

I have a Nikon Coolpix P7000 and am planning on purchasing a Fantasea housing for it.  I also need to get an appropriate strobe.  I plan on being a generalist with regard to the types of pictures I take (macro, wide angle, etc.).  I will not be a heavy user in that I typically take one dive trip per year.  I have been looking at the Ikelites and the Sea and Seas, however, I am open to suggestions.

I am a novice diver who will dive infrequently in warm clear waters. I have a Nikon Coolpix P-7000 camera with a Fantasea housing. I am looking to purchase a strobe light kit that is simple to use and is as inexpensive as is reasonable. The strobe should allow for good pictures, but need not be "top of the line". Recommendations would be appreciated.
