About Me

Hi,

I'm Brent. One of the Directors of Narked at 90 Ltd, a manufacturer of technical diving equipment. We sponsor a dive team at www.silentrunning.org.uk which I am a member.
Our diving is mainly in the North Sea in the UK at depths of 50m to 100m on wrecks.

One of the most frustrating challenges we face, is identifying wrecks. Often we have to remove artifacts to be able to research them. I am hoping to reduce the need by being able to take pictures of these wrecks instead. Where its not possible to leave an item, to record it in situ before removal. Perhaps, create some social history.
Quite frankly, I'm tired of having to explain how my collection of items are on display in museums. How we work with curators to produce some spectacular exhibitions where we often provide the centre peices. Just because we are not professional archeologists doesnt mean we dont make a significant contribution. If English Heritage are so worried about wrecks in 100m, then they should have dived and researched on or two of them without our help.
