Not far from the Ribbon Eels - opposite side of the BIG rock that they are up against.

Thanks - I'll try and answer the questions

Liveaboard was the Marco Polo

Xeno in the picture is from Phi-Phi, Turtle Rock. There were also 3 at Phuket, Shark Point and 1 at Similan, West of Sweden.

The Shrimps were on the North side of the rock, in a crack, but with a long macro lens there is no need to put the camera inside - hardest part was getting the strobes to light the back of the hole.


I've seen the Harlequins on the West side in a crack close to a sea fan at the first Channel. Seems like they are gone though. It was Pain to get the strobes inside for sure!

West of Sweden. That's a new one too. :) Can you tell me the general area maybe. Was it close to the ribbon eels, or the channel, or something distinctive?

Good laugh and nice shots. Where exactly did you find the xeno crab? Never seen it.
