Hi all,
I'm shooting a Nikon D7000 in a Nauticam housing using Sea and Sea ports from my old system. Want to use the Tokina 12-24mm with S&S wide acrylic dome (8") but am unsure if an extension and/or diopter is necessary. On the Nauticam port chart, they recommend extension 50 if using 8.5" acrylic dome but extension 20 if using the 8.5" white balance dome (I'm assuming both Nauticam domes). If the dome size is the same, shouldn't you use the same extension? If I'm using my S&S 8" dome, which extension should I use? (I only have ext 40). Will I need a diopter?
If anyone is shooting the same system, I'd appreciate your experience and suggestions. Thanks
p.s. I'm also shooting Nikon 105mm (not VR) with my old S&S ports, I'm assuming the port combination whiched worked with the S&S housing will work for the Nauticam housing (i.e. Ext 40 and custom macro port).
