For Sale - New Gates HMR10 POV Housing
20 July 2011 - 05:32 AM
Point of View (POV) HD Imaging
New to the Gates 'bulletproof' underwater imaging lineup, the HMR10 POV (Point of View) housing is perfect for those distinct applications where distance viewing and/or small camera size are important. Like getting up close and personal with a Great White. Inspecting the next Cenote passage? Or how about capturing Surf Crabs in 6in / 15cm of water? The HMR10 housing lets you shoot remarkable HD image quality, from a distance of up to 60ft / 20m.
Reliability, durability, dependability - the Gates hallmark for over 40 years.
Compatible cameras: Panasonic AG-HMR10 Recorder / HCK10 Camera
This housing is new but I no longer have the original box it came in.
Instead of 2 handles this item comes with a handle on the right side and a dovetail mount on the left.

Gates HMR10 POV Housing
20 July 2011 - 05:25 AM
I'm new to underwater photography. I have a friend who gave me a deal on a New Gates HMR10 POV Housing. It was expensive and I'm wondering if it's too hardcore for my needs. I'm just starting to snorkel and get comfortable in the water, trying to build up confidence and working towards diving some time soon.
Should I just hold on to the housing until I get good at diving or should I just try to sell the housing and buy another one when I'm a capable diver?
