While storing files is nice I think even the 64gb version will run out of space too quickly. I'd rather invest in more flash cards since they are relatively cheap. I would like to be able to import CR2 files, do some basic adjustments to the image and exif and then export to jpg. Basically lightroom on a tablet.

Yeah the whole CUDA thing is pretty awesome, if you are "just" editing 1080p then there is no real reason to spend thousands on an 8 core machine anymore.

Thanks everyone. Looking at my own images I always find they have a different look than most UW photography. I think its just because I usually do shallow wideangles with no strobes. I bought a Magic filter once but actually never tried it. I dislike color casts other than blues in UW photos so I shied away from using it. Usually wide angles seem to consist of an object in the foreground lit by strobe light and a darker or less detailed background. I'd love to have some strobes but they just sit on the long list of gear I'd like to own.

Hi Matt, they are very nice. I think every image is technically and artistically perfect. Great work!

In this case I'd say it's mainly composition/angle/lens choice and to a lesser extent a lack of dramatic lighting that makes these images good but not great. It's just hard to get those great shots. I've got a lightroom catalog with 60000 UW images but less than 20 of them are what I would call great.

Just keep shooting :B):
