Yes, the 800's bigger but not massively.Less so once you've added the arms/strobes.

I used to clean the 600 sensor and after around 500 shots, there would be as many as 40 + spots. I would get the D610/D800 if you're not wanting on-going frustration.

I used to have the D600 - but the dust issue was just too bad. I do a lot of land stuff with small apertures and it was a real pain.I'd often literally have oil/dust all over the place. I cleaned the sensor myself but after even a few hundred clicks it was back. I now have the D800 and can honestly say that yes, you do get bits of dust, but in comparison with the D600 it's no where near. It's not an issue at all to me anymore, but the D600 was a pain in the arse. Shame as it is such a nice camera.
