About Me
Born as a fish. Swim the seas, swim the lakes, swim any puddle I can find. High viz, low viz, it matters not.
First underwater camera was a Kodak in a baggie (it died a valiant death on it's first snorkel, when I was 12 - when I learned that tape leaks). Have everything from my trusty Nikonos V, to my Canon 5D Mk III (and 20+ other cameras).
Love playing with light. Light IS what this is all about, anyway. If you don't think so, then you are seriously misinformed.
I am extremely annoying to dive with, as if I have my camera gear (and I probably will, if I'm diving), you simply don't exist in my world of light, water, and things in the sea. Hopefully, you have your camera gear, too. So go away, and let me play with my snoots and marvel in the underwater world.
As an instructor, I will help you with your poor diving etiquette, if I see it (not bashful). Seriously, if you want to learn to swim backwards, work on buoyancy, better shooting skills, my knowledge (or lack thereof), is free for the asking.
Love caves and caverns, swim-throughs, walls, sand beds, and finding creatures mere mortals never see.
