RX100 Mark II housings

19 August 2013 - 10:39 AM

I know currently there are three available products for this little cameras

1. Recsea

2. Ikelite

3. NB (otherwise also known as Meikon, and their clones like Meike, Paloroid etc etc)

but...have to tell you guys Nauticam has been very aggressive and the housings are under mass production

I am lucky to get one for my friend and to be honest I was shocked by the size and weight of this housing.

The only other housingis the Ikelite for RX100. Ikelite is good except...it is larger and heavier.

Sharing the same housing Nikon D7000/D7100 D600/?D800

Has anyone tried to use newer Nikon camera bodies into the same housing? Having read Michael's reviews about D7100, I started to notice Nikon has built D7000, D7100 and D600 with very similar camera bodies so they can fit into the same housing. As the dSLR housings have never been more affordable than camera bodies, I started to wonder if I can buy a housing for, say my D800 so I can use an new D400 body later for underwater shooting

Housing for Nex camera

20 April 2013 - 02:09 AM

Hi everyone.

I started my own strobe and arm system connecting to this 5n using a Meikon housing. It is a good housing if I am using it for shallow water sport but not for diving. I started looking for better housing system.

Currently I have found Nauticam, 10bar, Aquatica, Recsea, Acquapazza and have been wondering which is the best. I also have a Nex6 camera and Nauticam is the only company providing a housing for this camera.

Thanks
