WTB: Zen 170mm N85 mount Version I

Looking for a Zen 170mm dome for Nauticam mirrorless mount. Not version 2 with the built in extension, but the first version that is just the dome.

Lenses for Palau

14 April 2017 - 07:52 AM

I will be going to Palau/Peleliu next February for roughly 2 week (shore based) and I'm trying to decide what lenses/ports would be worth bringing along. I have an Olympus E-M5mkII (0.5x equivalent full frame lens size) and was planning on bringing my 60mm Macro and my Panasonic 7-14mm rectilinear for wide angle. My biggest question was whether or not it would be worth bringing a fisheye lens with me? I don't currently own one, but was going to be buying one within the next year or so. If it's not worth bringing to Palau, then I can spread out purchases a bit more.

WTB: Zen 170mm Port, N85 Mount

04 April 2017 - 06:58 AM

Looking for a Zen 170mm port in the N85 mount, part number DP-170-N85. Figured I would see if there were any used ones before buying new. I'd prefer for it to come from the US to avoid international shipping.

YS-01 Strobe losing power underwater, fine on land

05 November 2016 - 07:14 PM

So on my dive today my S&S YS-01 wasn't working. It worked intermittently on my previous dive earlier this week. As soon as I'd get in the water, it would act like the batteries had died, even with freshly charged batteries. I was able to replicate the issues on land by pressing on the battery door. If it's uncompressed, the strobe will charge up and give me a ready light. As soon as I press on the door again, it loses all power. I haven't opened it up after this dive as I'm still letting it dry, but when I looked in the battery compartment this morning when replacing batteries, nothing looked amiss. I just returned from a liveaboard a few weeks ago with no issues.

Anyone else had this issue? What should I check to see what the problem is?
