Top guy, the cute one,  is a stripefin ronquil (Rathbunella alleni)*, not uncommon, but rarely seen. Nice shot.

Middle of the totem pole is the broad-headed coralline sculpin (Artedius corallinus), fairly common, especially at the Breakwater.

Bottom guy is indeed corynactus, one of the brighter colors around central California.

If you likes them critters, Daniel Gotshall's "Pacific Coast Inshore Fishes" is an excellent go-to book.

*Spell check is underlining "ronquil". Makes me think less of it.

Awesome, thank you!

This is killer... thanks for sharing. I think I'll be going this route instead of the RX100 housing. I'll order from a shop that supports WetPixel.

In Topic: Newbie Must Read: What new system did you just buy?

EDIT: never mind, it appears that I can post now... odd.

Mike: you can post topics now as you need to make a post to validate your account! You just did so. Welcome to Wetpixel :) Admin

I'm not sure where else to post this... but I can't start a new topic for some reason. I can only reply to existing topics. I've gone through the registration process, and have validated my account.

Why?
