Need some help

13 March 2010 - 12:24 PM

Hi guys/gals. I'm doing a little modification to my digital housing and need some UNEXPOSED but PROCESSED slide film (E6). I use it to trigger slave strobes. I used to have some tails laying around but I ran out. If some kind person could throw a few tails in the mail I'd appreciate it. I could send you a couple bucks through paypal for your time. If you can do this for me, send me a PM and I will give you my mailing address.
Thanks.

FS: Ikelite Substrbe Ai

28 May 2009 - 01:04 PM

I am trying to get rid of an Ikelite Substrobe Ai with TTL sync cord (Nikonos to Ikelite connectors). Everything works and is in great condition.
$20 + shipping from Los Angeles.

Here are the specs:

    * TTL, Manual, and 1/2 Power Modes
    * Recycle time is less than 4 seconds
    * Measures 4.5" x 7.8" ~ 11.5cm x 20cm
    * Weight is only 3.5 pounds ~ 1.6 kg

Turning a knob adjusts the angle of coverage from 80 to 95 degrees, allowing optimum coverage for a full range of lenses from 15mm to macro. The adjustable coverage eliminates the need for a diffuser that would reduce the light output by one f / stop.

The special soft-lite reflector and 4800 degree Kelvin color temperature provide exceptional flesh tones. Built-in modeling light helps in aiming the strobe while illuminating subject's colors.

The electronics are completely sealed from the battery compartment. The strobe provides approximately 160 flashes from four "D" cell alkaline batteries. Full power recycle time is less than four seconds.

G10 New Fantasea WA Dome

21 May 2009 - 08:32 AM

The one thing that has kept me from getting a G10 is the lack of WA. I see Fantasea is coming out with a wet dome adapter similar to Ikes G10 solution. Any thoughts on how good this might be? I like the G10 as a camera and hope this is good enough to get a bit wider angle underwater.
