I've been diving Arraial do Cabo some time ago myself and wondered how cold brazilian waters are, just bringing 5mm wetsuit with me

Thanks.  It's good to know someone that knows Arraial do Cabo.  

In fact, the cold water is just on South of Brazil.  On the north the water is warm.  The best place to dive in Brazil is  Fernando de Noronha , an Island.  It's a nice place.

I bought one  from Divervision   http://www.divervisi...e...p;x=13&y=11    and the delivery to California was very quick.  Good to get a few things you might need at the same time to make the International shipping pay for itself.

It did not come with instructions so you might think it doesn't fit at first.  The rubber on the front barrel section of the 105vr needs to be removed for the F.I.T. ring to work. No big deal once you figure that out.

Hunnn.. so, I have to remove the rubber that I  use to do manual focus on 105 VR and put the other that came with F.I.T?  That is it?

I just bought the new  Nikon TC 1.7  and  is  working very well with the 105VR.
I do not know, why Nikon annouced that the AF could not work or am I missing something ?

Hi all,
I have replied to this issue before on several occasions. I don't understand why, but in my limited experience with D200 cameras and the Sea&sea converter w z240, they will not work togeather. However, my D2x which is not supposed to work with the converter works flawlessly. Go figure.  Tim, I would try and borrow one for a test run before I'd buy. Based on other peoples accounts it could very well be different from camera to camera. There are people on the list that have working setups.

Augusto, I'm sorry to hear you have problems with your converter and camera. Did you remeber to engage the Nikon protocol button on your strobes? Set to auto?

This protocol button is to be pushed , isn't it?   I usually set them on S-ttl or slow ttl.  Should I put it on auto?
