Dive Rat

Any thoughts on PS CS2 versus Elements 4? I am new to post processing and wonder if E4 will do or should I just jump in and get PS and learn how to use it.
I'm not trying to be a pro by any means, just an enthusiastic hobbyist trying to get a few pics to possibly make friends and family say Wow, (need to justify to my wife the $ I've spent on this expensive hobby, diving and UW photography) LOL
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Hi all,
Just got back from my first dive trip with my new rig. The problem was that I couldn't get the camera to white balance underwater. I had programed a 1 touch button to do it but it would come back saying that the white balance was unsuccessful every time I tried it.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this subject?

Hi all,

I just got my new dSLR gear     and want to become a better photographer. Has anyone used the [U]Underwater Photographer.com lessons. They have some basic courses that would probably help my pics and some workflow courses which I definately need!  

Are there other sources of instruction ie; books, DVDs etc. that you would recommend?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I just had to share my excitement.

Yesterday I ordered an Ikelite housing and DS-125 strobe kit for my Oly E-300     I am definately a novice, so this will be an expensive 2-3 times a year hobby but I love it.

I look forward to trying to figure this rig out next month in Cozumel.  

It is a steep learning curve for me going from a compact P&S to this dSLR, but I have found a lot of good advice here on Wetpixel and hope to be able to get a few decent shots in the future.

I'm sure this will be a long week waiting for delivery.....

Hi all,
I have an Olympus E-300 and will soon have an Ikelite housing and possibly an ikelite DS-125 Strobe.
Can anyone tell me anything about the bouyancy characteristics of this set up?

Also, any suggestions for a safety cable (to connect to the BC) set up?
