definately walking distance, or public transport from "town"
no need for beach access, green area is great
does not need to be aircon, just fan is ok, (breezy place better)
yes dive photo!!! walk and hike a bit a plus
should be in tulamben area, or amed area, or scuba seraya area, since the housereef is so spectacular, don't wanna miss that
while we're at it : wanna see pygmy seahorse!!!!!! :D

try out LTU ( www.ltu.com ), they fly from many different airports in germany and have extra baggage allowance of 20kg for divers on top of your normal bag, also look into buying (10euro) or so their card so you get an additional 10kg; only minus point: not very comfortable flights...

i'm a proud owner of a 10d myself! haven't had the chance to use it in wide angle yet, but soon, soon. this gives me a good idea of its performance. thanks !!

i agree with MikeO, Olymus compact is what i had to start with, was extremely happy. and they have good little housings, all of it at affordable prices. and if i got things right: the SP350 is actually the newer, actuallised model based on the 7070. again , pros and salespeolple: correct me on this one if i'm wrong.
