Sterling Zumbrunn is a professional photographer based in Washington DC, who focuses on nature and humanity's relationship with our environment. For the last several years, he served as Conservation International's Director of Photography, where he traveled to numerous locations around the world documenting field conservation in action. In addition to pursuing assignment work, he currently serves as Backscatter Underwater Photo and Video's Technology Evangelist, helping to bolster their presence online and spread the word about exciting new developments in the world of underwater imaging.
