Fixed the problem.  The manual tells you to up the manual EV if the reading is "under".  Hope this actually works.

I'll post some photos when I find the USB cable (it's hiding!)

The "under" happened during WB I think is because there is not enough reflected light from the white/gray card or whatever you used (it happens even if you are in shallow water). e.g. if the card is v. very close to the lens. I tried to move the card a bit further away from the camera then it worked (if the card is small and cannot cover enough, you can zoom in a bit). If I continued to move the board even further, it said "over".

I was hoping I could get a warmer image by using the diffusors. Seems it just ai'nt so...

Are there any chance that you can get the old filter they made before, the white diffuser can get you from 5500 to 5400 close to sunlight.
Also, diffuser is not hard to find, right? Lens diffuser, strobe diffuser etc.

How sharp is the 105? I've heard great things about the UFL-165 fisheye lens, but haven't talked to anyone using the 105.

      I am using Inon 105. About how sharp...  maybe it's better if you can see it.

Shutter lag and slower focusing speed could be a concern, but I do like the functions provided by the camera.

May not be ideal for fast moving critters capture, that's another draw back besides the RAW.
