I have for sale a silver Aquatica AD300 housing. In the Fall of 2008, I had my AD200 converted to an AD300. The housing can be used with either the Nikon D200 or D300 as this sale includes the front and two backs (one for the D200 and the other for the D300). Two different saddle trays are included as well for the different model cameras. The housing has seen minimal use the last two years with 1 dive in 2011 and about 30 dives in 2010.
The housing is currently off for a service, but I wanted to see what the interest level is first before committing to $300 USD on a service.
So, $900 USD or best offer AS-IS. And if you want the service done, add $300 USD. I will pay for shipping to the US, Canada, or Mexico. If you are interested and live anywhere else in the world, just mention where and I will get a shipping quote for you.
Thanks!
Jim
NOTE: a couple of the little rubber caps on the controls are missing. One lever and one button are a little stiff, but I dove with this housing on October 23, 2011 with no leaks or problems.

The future of Aquatica zoom and focus gears
23 August 2011 - 11:04 AM
I am considering the switch from my D300 to my D7000 for underwater use. I have Aquatica brand housing, ports, gears, etc. And I just noticed that my two zoom gears for the Tokina 10-17mm fisheye would not carry over to the new AD7000 housing. I was seriously thinking of getting the AD7000, but to add $250-300 in zoom gears I already own (and recently purchased) is holding me back.
My question is this (and maybe Jean from Aquatica can chime in):
What are the chances that new generation Nikon cameras, say a possible D400, would be able to use my current zoom gears? Or will more future Aquatica housings utilize the new style gears that the AD7000 uses?
Thanks for any information.

Pelican 1500 case (black) with padded dividers
11 May 2011 - 11:31 PM
I have a "like new" black Pelican 1500 case with silver padded dividers. It has the newer locks, but not the stainless reinforcements on the lock areas. Very clean, never been on a plane and has no stickers...just a few minor scuffs.
Hoping to get $100 OBO. Free shipping to continental US. International, please message me for a shipping quote. Paypal only. Thanks!

Sea & Sea Strobes & Sync Cords for Sale
05 February 2011 - 03:46 PM

I have an assortment of Sea & Strobes and Sync Cords for Sale as follows:
*SOLD* 1 x YS-110 strobe $250, fully functional *SOLD*
1 x YS-90DX strobe $200, fully functional
2 x YS-120 Yellow $25/ea OBO, they fire when switched to test, but have failed to sync consistently
Dual 5-pin Sync Cord $60
2 x Single 5-pin Sync Cord $25/ea
Three strobes come with the fixing bolt, diffusers, and Ultralight strobe adapters (YS-120s and YS-110). YS-90DX comes with a Fantasea strobe adapter which is the same size as the ULCS. All o-rings present except one YS-120 sync cord cap is missing and one of the single Sync Cords is missing the bulkhead end o-ring. One of the single Sync Cords is missing the clear plastic cap for the strobe end. I may have all these missing 'bits', but I will need to check my gear bag some more. I will post a follow up here if I find them.
Reason for selling? I picked up some Ikelite DS-160s and need to find a good home for the Sea & Sea gear. As stated above, the YS-120s are not syncing. They still flash and have the diffusers and fixing bolts so I felt they are worth something to the right person.
The entire lot for $500 and free shipping. Paypal and US sales only please.
Thanks,
Jim
