Sigma just announced a new 180mm F2.8 macro lens that can shoot 1:1. I've only ever used 60mm and 105mm macro lenses. What are your views on whether this new lens would be any good underwater?

NTUC Fairprice, Singapore’s Largest Supermarket Chain, Says No To Shark Fin Products
05 January 2012 - 01:53 AM
I read this in the news today and thought I would pass along the good news. NTUC Fairprice, Singapore's largest supermarket chain, has publicly promised to remove shark fin products from its shelves by the first quarter of 2012. It is meaningful as many (possibly the majority of) Singaporeans shop at NTUC. Beyond making shark fin unavailable for shoppers, it sends an important message to the public.

Think Tank Airport International V2.0 Roller Camera Bag
06 September 2011 - 09:51 PM
Hi everyone,
I am considering buying a Think Tank Airport International V2.0 Roller Camera Bag to transport my camera gear, housing, strobes, ULCS arms, etc. I have seen the bag once in person but did not have my gear with me so I was unable to gauge if everything fits. Based on your experience, do you think this bag can comfortably fit:
- Nikon D300 sized camera
- Metal housing, likely Sea & Sea, Aquatica or Nauticam
- Nikon 60mm macro, Nikon 105mm macro, Tokina 10-17 mm fisheye
- Flat ports for 60mm and 105mm macro lenses, mini dome for fisheye lens
- 45 degree viewfinder
- wet diopter of some sort, either Dyron +7 or Subsee +10
- 2 Inon Z-240 strobes
- Light & Motion Sola 600 light
- ULCS arms 2x5 and 2x8 plus clamps
- Fiber optic sync cords
- 12" laptop
If not everything fits, I don't mind checking in certain non-fragile items like the ULCS arms, strobes, Sola light, etc.
Details and specs of the bag are here:

Thank you in advance.

Tokina 10-17 mm fisheye for Nikon mount
05 September 2011 - 10:16 PM
Dear all,
I am looking to buy my first Tokina 10-17 mm fisheye for Nikon cameras. I came across 2 versions - with and without lens hood. The one without the lens hood costs $20 more. What are the practical differences and which one is recommended for underwater use behind a small dome port?
With lens hood:

Without lens hood:

Thank you.
