I was out diving this past Friday to the underwater wonder the HMCS Yukon. I was on a dive boat called the Lois Ann out of San Diego. I noticed an Ikelite housing sitting on the top deck with a Fuji S2 in it and two Ike DS125's attached. It was my first time out on the Yukon so I didn't really pay attention to whose camera setup it was. After the second dive I started to talk to the owner and asked him if he's ever been on the Wetpixel website. He said Yep I'm one of the moderators. I said really what’s your name. He said James Wiseman. I told him my name is Robert Stark and his face lit up. What a small world! It was great to put a face to one of the many names here and to actually dive with one of the members.

He looks pretty comfy in that drysuit. Hmm...someone here is a tad bit jealous...smile.gif

I didn't notice a camera in his hand on this trip though. Bob, how could you!!???

I had a great time diving w/ you and the rest of the folks on the Lois Ann. Another great day diving in San Diego. Water temp was in the mid 50's f.

I have been thoroughly shamed by having been seen on a dive boat without a camera. Sorry, it will not happen again.

This wasn't done through a dating agency was it?!!!

Bob (W),

No, but I did read about it in my horoscope. "You will meet a man clad all in black. He will jump into freezing water and find a guitarfish."

You should both come to Manado and join in the photocomp. The boys first prize is an eye-opener.

If the trip is free and you can clone an ocean engineer to sit in my chair at the office, I AM THERE!!!!

Cheers

The money you earn, your indispensible characteristics and uniqueness of occupation would get around all of that.

This is going to be a memorable trip!
