Here is another site you may find some music on.
Seem to have some cool tunes on it.

but surely with all this Royalty Free usage out there nowadays, one runs the great risk of using a certain piece of music for a client's project and then at some trade-show somewhere the booth next door to your client is using the exact same piece of music...... would be slightly embarrassing - though the chances are incredibly small, it's still a worst case scenario to aim to avoid....

It happens even when we use these royalty free loops (beats, instruments etc......) to compose our own unique soundtrack.... I was watching an A380 documentary the other day when "MY" ( wink.gif ) piano riff from the Wakatobi video 2006 came through loud and clear..... I was very proud that the production company had chosen to rip-off my tune... biggrin.gif

I have tons of royalty free music plus Soundtrack Pro allows me to make my own. However, I use Sonic Fire Pro the most, it is the easiest to use and the most flexible. Of course, you have to have the library for it.

that sonic pro looks alright, eh?

so far, I'm dead chuffed with both GarageBand and Soundtrack Pro in order to satisfy my clients....

we're upto 34.71GB of stock loops! not that we can come close to using them all!

All of these loops that I've already got in my library would work a charm with Smart Sounds Sonic, yeah?

Chris,
Don't know if your loops with work with Sonic Fire Pro or not, I would give them a call: sales
1-800-454-1900 or tech support at 818-920-9132,
If your loops are not compatible, once you have built your library with their cuts or full discs, you really can't go wrong and it takes only a minute to customize any piece of music. They are coming out very soon with a new version 5.0 but if you buy the 4.5 the upgrade to 5.0 will be free.
Here are a couple of reviews I wrote for the kenstone.net site a while ago

The somewhat similiar sort of thing happened to me..
I was working a booth at a Dive Travel Trade show with a buddy of mine who owns a dive boat. A few booths down, there was a local dive shop with brochures marketing an upcoming dive trip...the trip was on a competitor's dive boat. Yet the fun diving related photos on the brochure and the dive shop's website were mine, and photos lifted off of my buddys' website.

I appreciated the indrect compliment that they liked my photos so much to "borrow" them, however I didnt appreciate the lack of class exhibited by the dive shop owner. When I asked him about the photos, he made no effort to apologize, feigned it was some elses fault, and made no effort to thank nor reimburse me. Because of his rudeness I contacted his website developer and they promptly apologized and replaced the images.
