Thought people in this forum (being more cerebral) might be interested to see this video of an albino whale shark. I just got back from a Galapagos trip on board the Deep Blue. One of the dive masters, Luis Mosquera, shot some video last year that I posted for him (with his permission of course) on my web site since he does not have his own. It is on the second gallery page under "videos" on www.cdascher.com.

PS-If anyone from the Discovery channel wants to pick this footage up for Shark Week, I can put you in touch with Luis.

Thanks; do you know if this was the same occasion / whaleshark as the one previously posted on this site. Looks like the same guy, at least the little guy accompanying it below the tail looks the same.

It must be the same one (time of year, location and boat). Luis, the DM who shot the footage, always has his video camera as he is making trip videos for the boat. It would be interesting if anyone spotted this fish again.

That shakey video is probably not something broadcasters would be interested in purchasing. They may however be interested in going out there to try their luck. which won't benefit Luis but his bosses smile.gif
