From your profile, it seems that you have a Nikon D80, so I assume that you have a Nexus D80 housing. Which model of D80? I believe there are 3 versions: The earliest w/o fiber optic port, with one fiber optic port and M5 port size, and the latest has two fiber optic ports, M6 port size and is called the D80 Master T2.

i have a d80 camera, in a patima housing

i bought a d300, i have read (do not know where, thats why i am asking..) that the inside screw, to attach the several port's are the same size as patima housing
since i have some port's of patima, and if they are of the same size as nexus, my choice it will be a nexus housing istead a subal...

Well Sam is Mr. D200/D300 and you should await his answer. I believe that the new Nexus D300 has the M6 port size. I think that there are adapters to go from M4 (F4 Pro) to M5, so there may be adapters for M6 <->M5. Since Sam has a Patima also, may be he can resolve this issue for you.

Patima ports are in same diameter as Nexus M5 port BUT, pitch in thread is slightly different
& company is not recommanding to use third party's port. however, I have been dove with Nexus
M5 ports with my Patima housing but, could not do vise verse( it goes in very, very tightly
which is not acceptable in underwater world).

Nexus changed port size from M5( d200 or older model) to M6 (d300 or newer) and an adapter
is available (I think I've seen some limitation there too).

I do not understand what's your point is but,
1.I tried & found Patima port cannot be put on Nexus housing as thread size on port is different.
2.I tested it to reduce no. of ports/volume of the equipments I bring to trip.
