No, none of these photos came out. Jim only got photos of white froth as the hammerhead thrashed around while eating the bait.

Everyone thought he was going to die.

I have to agree.

At the time I was thinking..."what the hell is he doing". It was unfortunate he was not set up for macro as that was the lens he really needed. Only Jim could think he could swim to the bait quicker than a hammerhead.

Great shot! Crazy Jim!
Must be a Jim thing! My husband's name is Jim and once while we were diving off the coast of North Carolina we came across a hammerhead on the surface. As the captain pulled up close so we could all get a better look I turned to see my husband with his fin, mask and video camera in hand. The captain stopped him and asked if he was nuts. Supposedly they are looking for food on the surface. Those cameras seem to offer some sort of protection don't they???????
