Lemon Shark Tagging in Bimini, with Dr. Samuel H Gruber
A comprehensive report of the Bimini Biological Field Station's 2003 PIT Tagging Project. During the course of four weeks, the local cohort of juvenile lemon sharks are caught and tagged under the direction of shark scientist Dr. Samuel H Gruber. The PIT program runs annually; you can find out more information at the sharklab website.

Dive Magazine’s 2nd Digital Cover
Congratulations to Wetpixel's Eric Cheng, whose photo of a juvenile loggerhead turtle is on the cover of the July 2003 issue of Dive Magazine! Eric's photo is the 2nd digital photo that has appeared on the cover of Dive Magazine (the first was Douglas David Seifert's whale shark photo from last month).
