Our community of over 3000 underwater photographers span the globe, living in more than 25 different countries and travelling to many more. We would love to have you join us! Why does logging in and out take me to the forums area? | |

Unfortuntately, Wetpixel's login routines currently exist only in the forums area of our site. After you are done logging in, just click on the Wetpixel logo to go back to the home page. | |

Why can't I post or reply in the forums? | |

|
Are you a member of Wetpixel? If not, please take a moment to sign up now. It's free, and we don't sell your contact information to others. If you are a member, you need to make sure your e-mail address has been validated. Go to the forums area and look in the upper-right-hand corner. If you see a link named, "Resend Validation," click on it and go through the validation process. You must be validated to post on Wetpixel. If your e-mail address is no longer valid, go to your User CP and change your e-mail address. Once you are validated, you will see a forum in The Galley called README and Validation area for New Members. You will need to reply to the topic in that forum before you can post in the rest of the system. This first post helps us prevent spammers from getting access to the system. If you are registered and validated and still can't post for some reason, please contact a Wetpixel administrator. |

I'm not getting e-mail (e.g. registration confirmation, subscribed forum notices) from Wetpixel. | |

Be sure that you have listed the correct e-mail address in your Wetpixel profile.
If the correct e-mail address listed, mail from Wetpixel might be getting filtered out by your spam filter. We've found that most of the passive anti-spam solutions let our e-mails through, but "challenge/response" systems will obviously not let our mails through unless you explicitly white-list us at wetpixel.com. Wetpixel staff will not respond to anti-spam e-mail challenges, so it's up to you to white-list us yourselves. |

The text ads on our site are chosen dynamically by Google's AdSense program. If you see one you think is inappropriate, please report it by using our feedback form. | |

We officially support Internet Explorer 6 and flavors of Mozilla/Firefox. If you are using an old browser, please consider upgrading! If you are using Netscape Navigator 4.x, you really owe it to yourself to try Firefox.
Regarding IE on the Mac: Internet Explorer 5.1.x for the Mac was originally released in 2001, and was incrementally updated in 2003. Microsoft doesn't support it, and Wetpixel doesn't, either. If you are using a supported browser and are still having site loading problems, please contact us, and we will look into it. |

I want to upload a picture into my forum post - what size should it be? | |

File uploads are limited to 64kb per image. If you find that your file is too large, try reducing the image dimensions, or saving at a lower quality. | |

I forgot my member name and can't login. How can I look it up again? | |
| ||
|
To look up your member name,
navigate to the full list
of registered members and browse alphabetically if you can remember
the first few letters. You can also choose to search by homepage, signature
contents, or posting dates by clicking on the 'Toggle More Options'
button, filling in the known fields, and clicking 'Go!' at the bottom
of the form.
If you remember something that you wrote in a thread in the forums, you can also use the Search Form to find the post and your username. If you need more help, please contact a Wetpixel administrator. |

How do I post a classified item (to sell or buy)? | |
| ||
|
After logging in to the Wetpixel
forums as a registered member, navigate to the Classifieds section,
and click the 'New Topic' button near the top-right of the page. Fill in a meaningful title and description of your item, and use the 'File Attachments' section below the posting area if you wish to add a photo. The 'Post New Topic' button will finalize your classified ad. |
