INTOVA
November 2, 2007 - 12:35PM

Intova specializes in inexpensive underwater cameras and housings and dive lights. New for 2007 are the Intova-designed IC500 and IC700 digital cameras and accompanying housings, with 5MP CMOS and 7MP CCD sensors, respectively.

The IC500 features a 2.5” LCD screen and 4x digital zoom, and supports up to a 2GB SD card, while IC700 in the shock-absorbent housing is waterproof to 180 feet and is equipped with a new 3” LCD screen. The IC700 also reaches 12x overall zoom (3x optical, 4x digital), and allows ‘manual’ adjustment of EV compensation with shutter speeds from 1s to 1/1000. The full Intova digital line now runs from 1.3MP to 7MP.

All cameras can be equipped with the Intova PX21 slave flash and base combination, rated to 175 feet and optionally triggered by fiber-optic cable.
