Eagles Nest film wins an Emmy

Wetpixel member Becky and partner David Schott of Liquid Productions were awarded an Emmy each at the National Academy of Television Arts and Science Awards held December 3rd, 2011 in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. It was awarded for the Eagles Nest Cave feature story produced by them and that aired on CBS last year. The film involved using rebreathers, trimix, DPV's, 600 watts of light to travel and film the 2000 feet upstream as far as Kings Challenge, illuminating one of the most interesting underwater cave systems in Florida. The film crew spent an hour at 270' and the video was shot over a total of 2 days.
