Gates announces new GL2 / XM2 / XV2 housing for Canon cameras.
An attractive addition to the Gates line of professional underwater video systems.
San Diego, CA - July 9th, 2004 - Gates Underwater Products, the global leader in reliable underwater housings, is pleased to announce the availability of a new housing for the Canon GL2 / XM2 / XV2 cameras. Compatible with Fathom Imaging ports, the GL2 / XM2 / XV2 housing is another fine member of the Gates family of professional-grade underwater video systems providing fine creative control of marine images.
The GL2 / XM2 / XV2 includes many Gates hallmark traits, including reliable fingertip mechanical controls, durable ‘bulletproof’ machined aluminum, depth rating to 450 feet / 137 meters, and 2-year renewable warranty - the best in the industry. Users will enjoy access to key camera functions on the Canon cameras including zoom, auto / manual focus, white balance and iris.
