The Houston Underwater Photographic Society (HUPS) has recently installed a permanent exhibit of underwater photographs at the Moody Gardens aquarium in Galveston Texas.
The exhibit consists of 32 framed 16” x 20” photographs on loan to the aquarium as a semi-permanent gallery. The gallery is to be refreshed with new photographs every 6 months.
HUPS is a non-profit social club with 120 members throughout Texas and four different countries and has undertaken this project as a proactive step towards its goals of promoting interest and participation in underwater photography and encourage conservation of the world’s oceans.
