After testing a pre-production version of the unit last year, Wetpixel member Chris Zeller (UWphotoNewbie) recently received a copy of the new Ikelite modular flat port for the 8” dome port system, and has posted his impressions of the final product in the forums:

It’s fantastic and the build quality is excellent...the components are expensive, more expensive in fact than the 5 ports you need for the traditional system, and its been a long road coming, however it’s much more flexible and convenient.
