Comment(s):I’m in… Doug has my bucks! :-)
Posted by Tim Moran on 11/25 at 02:30 AMMy copy arrived a couple of days ago and, since, I’ve snatched a few opportunities to view a handful of Doug’s tutorials.
Thus far, I’m in shell shock!!
Clearly, I have been scratching at only the epidemis of Photoshop (I started with CS).
Doug has blown me away, opened the door, showed me the light… To the extent that I would now like to revisit all those ‘000s of images and reprocess them!
Lucky it’s winter eh? :-)
Well done Doug. 99 bucks well spent. Looking forward to the LR issue too.
Posted by Tim Moran on 12/16 at 11:03 AMI’ve been a committed user of Nik Software PS plug-ins. Excellent they are too. I took a look at Vivesa 2 at the Canon Photo Pro Show and was very tempted. But having shown ‘the light’ by Doug, there seems little point. Maybe the plug-in is packaged a little more intuitively but Doug’s colour management tutorial works just fine for me and saved me 200 bucks too…
Posted by Tim Moran on 12/17 at 11:57 AMHey Tim,
Glad you are enjoying the movies! Hopefully the holiday season will allow you to tear into all the Camera Raw and the other major editing ones as well. Let me know what you think about the Auto Blend lesson, that one’s pretty fun with the right combination of images.
