Photographer and friend Tim Calver will be showing his work at the MCPA (Miami Center for the Photographic Arts) this coming February 3-28, 2007.  Please join Tim at the opening of this show, “Surface”, between 6-9PM on Saturday, February 3rd.

Tim is a freelance photographer whose career takes him wherever water ebbs and flows.  Each photograph in the exhibit was taken while freediving.  The images explore the relationship of breath and water, the meeting of ocean and air, and the results are as much about the color, shape, and feel of water as they are about the things that live beneath its surface.

  1. Wow!  I’ve spent a lifetime of marketing other photographer’s images (as well as my own) and I can honestly say these photos are among the best I’ve seen in a longtime.  Wetpixelers should take special note as we’re probably all caught up in a freefall of creative inspiration.  There is fabulous imaginative energy at work here!
    Website is pretty hot too!
