ULCS releases polecam for GoPro cams

Ultralight Control Systems (ULCS) has released a polecam system for the GoPro POV cam that retails at under $30. Featuring a 24" painted wood pole with two end fitting variations. One of these fittings allows the attachment of a GoPro tripod attachment, the other a 1" ball. If the latter is fitted, the cams can be mounted using the GoPro cages made by the company. These options are all available now.
At DEMA, ULCS also demo'd a unique pan fitting for the polecam and GoPro. This has not been released yet, but below is video of it in use on their booth at the show.
Ultralight Control Systems has developed a pole cam for the GoPro camera for under $30.
The poles are made of wood and painted, one end is male and one end is female. They are 24" long and you can add as many lengths as you desire.
Two ends are available. One end has the tripod mount on it the other one has a ball on it so it can be used with ULCS cages.
The poles are $9.95 and the end with the tripod mount is $9.95, the end with the ball is $25.95
Using the cage allows you to avoid the tabs on the housing for extreme situations i.e. sharks, crocks, sailfish etc. This use of the polecam will give you the greatest flexibility on position of the camera with the cage on it.
